Definition of Acupuncture:

The insertion of fine/thin needles into the meridian points (gateways) of the body that correspond with a practitioner's diagnosis of the location of a patient's illness or pain. The needle insertion into the prescribed points helps alter energy stagnated at the prescribed acupoints and stimulates the acupoints to begin normal adjusted flow of life energy (Chi) to the areas where the pain or illness was originating from.

The process of acupuncture acupoint stimulation is to help restore normal balance and flow of the human life energy (Chi) and revitalize the body to repair itself and maintain its health.

Traditional acupuncture dates back over 3000 years and has been used as a part of the primary health care services offered in China.

The main objectives of Acupuncture are:

1. Readjust the human body assisting in the healing process for internal medicine, OBGYN, and other varying diseases and illnesses.

2. Relieve pain and other related symptoms.

3. Strengthen the human body immune system. Revitalize, balance and then harmonize the functions of our body organs with each other.
