Convenient
access to a broad spectrum of therapies and healthcare practitioners
including Acupuncture, Needle-less acupuncture, massage therapy,
Cranio Sacral, Reiki, Myofascial Release, Healing Workshops, Opticise/Restorative
Exercise.
The
Holistic
Healing Center was founded to teach the benefits of alternative
medicine and to provide patients with convenient access to a broad
spectrum of therapies and healthcare practitioners. Patients are
given information on each practitioners skill and an explanation
of all services available. The option of alternative medicine
is clearly presented, and the choice becomes an educated one made
by the patient.
The
Holistic Healing Center offers patients the most appropriate and
expedient care for their condition. All therapies are optional,
and all suggestions are gently made. The convenience and familiarity
of having varied treatments and care-givers in one place, creates
a comfort level for patients and lends itself to an easy atmosphere
at the HHC. Close proximity also encourages immediate communication
and sharing of information between practitioners for the betterment
of the patient. Lisa hopes her patients will "understand
the body in a different way so that cause and effect is more obvious
and the patients will then know what to do for their own health."
Because
of the relationship established between the community and the
practitioners, the HHC has relied mostly on "word of mouth"
advertising. The positive feedback from clients and patients has
been very generous.
The
HHC also utilizes its Classroom, a studio and teaching facility
that was created to give classes and lectures to the public and
spread awareness about the alternatives of Holistic Health and
Healing. It is also a place to practice these things holding exercise,
Yoga and other group classes regularly.
Holistic
Healing Center now has an online
store for vitamin and herbal supplement needs. The same
brands and products carried at the Center are available online!

Acupuncture
& Herbal Consultations:
Acupuncture
- 30-60 mins, $70 to $165/ treatment; Acupuncture, existing for
thousands of years, is the insertion of a hair-thin needle into
a specific point of energy (Qi) on the body to simulate a physiological
change. It increases circulation, stimulates the body to release
corticosteroids (the body’s own anti-inflammatory) and endorphins
(the body’s own pain relievers). Acupuncture stimulates
the body’s self-healing mechanisms.
Chinese Herbal & Nutritional Consultations
- 30 mins. $45/consultation done to support the body’s system
in optimizing health. Traditional Chinese powder herbs are custom
blended or pill form recommended for the ‘syndromes’
recognized through Tongue diagnosis, pulse reading and questions.
Micro Current Acupuncture - 30-60 mins, $70 to
$165/ treatmentThis Needle-less form of Acupuncture, is based
on the body having a micro-current "circulatory system",
similar to the theory of the Chinese meridian system. It provides
intercellular communication through electromagnetic signaling
utilizing micro-currents which have documented its ability to
reduce pain, stimulate and even shorten the healing process. The
current run into the body via wet cotton tips placed upon Acupuncture
points having a similar effect to that of traditional needles.
This technique is very effective for those who do not tolerate
Acupuncture yet wish to have all the benefits.

and release the stored toxins.
