What
is Biofeedback?
Biofeedback
creates a powerful, positive, permanent impact on your emotional
and physical well-being. You learn how to alter your brain
activity, blood pressure, muscle tension, heart rate/rhythm, and
breath patterns to direct your body into self healing and expanded
awareness. You reduce stress and perform better in every area
of your life and your gains are cumulative. Once you know you
know. See how the rhythmic changes in your heartbeat reflect your
emotions and learn how to synchronize your nervous system and
experience a happy, healthier you. You will achieve improved mental
and physical performance as well as increased relaxation and energy.

| Biofeedback's
Methodology |

Tina uses 'state of the art' Biofeedback technology
which easily connects to your physiology
(heart rhythm, respiration, etc.) and displays it on a computer
screen in an easy to understand format. This allows you to see
how your body is responding to your physical, emotional, and mental
habits. The computer screen mirrors for you that which is happening
below your skin. During your sessions you will learn how you can
direct your usually unconscious physiology, into health creating
and enhancing habits through conscious awareness of what's happening
inside your body. Tina says: "I chose the best equipment available
to make your sessions fun, interesting, and informative including
the highly acclaimed 'HeartMath'
and 'Wild
Divine' programs.

| About
Tina |

Tina Lerner graduated from Michigan State University in 1973 with
'High Honors' and a B.A. in Psychology. The fall of that same
year she moved to Santa Barbara. She taught yoga and worked as
a chiropractic assistant. The more she explored the body/emotion/mind/spirit
connection to health and the experience of well-being the more
she followed her path of study, which led her to graduate studies
in anatomy and physiology and on to the Biofeedback Institute
in Seattle, Washington. There, in 1989, she met Dr. Jeffrey Cram,
a 30 year pioneer in the field of Biofeedback and Behavioral Medicine.
Together they created and opened the Sierra Health Institute in
1990 in Nevada City, California. While Sierra Health Institute
grew in clientele and prestige,Tina returned to school completing
a Masters Degree program in Applied Psychology from the University
of Santa Monica in 1995. She was then registered, with the State
Of California, as a certified "Psychological Assistant" and was
able to discover and further her talents, adding to them a natural
gift in counseling, which enhanced her Biofeedback work and its'
effectiveness.
Over
the years that followed she continued to expand her base of knowledge
by taking workshops in 'Brain Gym' and 'Feldenkrais', and she
again returned to formal education in the fall of 1999 and completed
a Master's program in Spiritual Science in June of 2001.
In
July of 2004, Tina returned to Santa Barbara after 15 years of
experience at Sierra Health Institute and other professional settings,
an accomplished Biofeedback Specialist, having completed over
five thousand sessions where she assisted her clients to become
more relaxed, happier, and healthier in their personal and professional
lives. She brings a gentle, non-judgemental, loving approach to
her work.
Tina
says: "My goal is to enrich your health and your experience of
yourself by demonstrating to you how incredible and powerful you
already are."
